Eligibility
Refunds apply only to fees actually received for a named programme after written confirmation of a seat or of Observation Seat access. An enquiry submitted through this website is not a payment and cannot be refunded. Consumer cooling-off rights under United Kingdom law apply where you are a consumer buying at a distance, except where you have asked us to start digital recordings during the cooling-off period and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel those services once delivery starts.
Timeframe
Write to info@consolevectorgrid.digital (topic: refund) within 14 days of the confirmation letter to cancel an Atelier Bench or shorter live programme that has not yet held its first live session. For Observation Seat, the 14 days run from the day we send access credentials, unless you have already downloaded or streamed more than 15 percent of the recorded hours, in which case we treat delivery as substantially begun.
Full or partial refund
If the first live session has not occurred, we return the fee in full minus any bank charge we cannot recover. After session one and before session four of Event Taxonomy Atelier, we return 50 percent, because a seat in an eleven-person room cannot be resold cleanly. From session four onward, live atelier fees are not returned except where we cancel the remaining teaching.
Grid Fellowship is invoiced in two halves. The first half is refundable only before the first council. The second half is refundable if you cancel at least 21 days before the seventh month, minus any councils already held at £380 each.
Non-refundable items
Posted grammar cards, printed prospectuses sent at your request, and third-party venue costs (none are required today) are not returned once dispatched. Critique that already happened is not a defective good; we do not refund because week seven felt sharp.
Refund process
Email from the address on the confirmation letter, include the programme name and the confirmation date, and say whether you are cancelling entirely or asking about a partial figure. We confirm in writing within five working days whether the request meets this policy.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are sent by the same method as the original payment where possible, or by UK bank transfer if the original rail cannot reverse. Allow ten working days after our approval email for the funds to show. Currency conversion differences on your side are not topped up.
Cancellation by us
If we cancel a cohort, you receive a full refund of fees paid for that cohort, or a transfer to a later dated room if you prefer. We are not liable for travel you booked; teaching is remote.
Exceptions
We may refuse a refund if we reasonably believe access credentials were shared in breach of the enrolment letter, or if uncleared personal data was introduced after a warning. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded still apply. Illness that prevents attendance does not automatically create a refund after session one; we will try to place you in a later room if a seat exists, without promising one.
